Here is a questionnaire for you to fill out and send to CGs to start the process of making a character!


Here are a few questions to help you think about your character. If you don't know the answer on something, don't worry, that's what we're here for!

We are here to help you build well thought out characters that fit well into the setting and have substance so you can have an enjoyable time.

But enough about us, let's talk about you:

The general character questionnaire:

What faction/camp, if any, is your character going to part of?
What happened during your character's non-supernatural life?
What about your character's family; What non-supernatural things shaped their background?
What was your childhood like?
Does your character have any particular status or rank? How was it earned?
What is the driving desire behind your character's actions? (e.g. love, power, helping others, etc.)
What is your character's greatest fear or weakness? (e.g. enclosed spaces, alcoholism, death, etc.)
How knowledgeable is your character about the world around them? How did they learn?
Will you be taking any Merits or Flaws?
How are you justifying them?
How do you react to various taints?

If you have a background story, we'd love to hear it!

Please send us your sheet! CGs have to okay your sheets, and determine with you how much of it is seen by the STs!

Gaian Spirits differ enough from other characters that they need their own questionnaire:

How did you first become aware of a world outside the umbra?
When did you become aware of the world/ how old are you?
What is your Ban?
What sort of chimminage do you prefer?
How or why did you develop this pseudo human form that you are using here in Quarry Creek?
How did you get to Quarry Creek?
Are there any sorts of spirits that you have specific animosity towards?
Have you ever had a pack before?
Have you ever been anyone's patron before?
Have you ever been a spirit familiar?
Have you ever spent time inside a talon or fetish? What was that like?
If you had to classify yourself as a spirit of Cunning, Respect, War or Wisdom - which would you say you are?
Why are your forbidden trees forbidden?
How do you react to various taints?
If you have crafting skills, when, where and why did you lean them?
What is your character's greatest fear or weakness? (e.g. enclosed spaces, alcoholism, death, etc.)
How knowledgeable is your character about the world around them? How did they learn?
Will you be taking any Merits or Flaws?

As a note on linked pairs - these characters have linked XP, but should not be linked concepts. The idea behind linked pairs is not to have two related characters, but to have a second character you can play who can make the town feel a bit more rich, and receives some free experience.
