Create Dross (2)

Requirements: Changeling, Rituals 2
Components: Supplies to create some form of physical art (paint and paper, a notebook, blank sheet music, clay, a piece of wood and a knife, etc).
Cost: Variable, up to 5 Glamour
Cast Time: Variable, 5 minutes per Glamour
Notes: May only be cast once per day
Purpose: Create Glamour talen

Show respect to the art supplies by ~*~ carefully polishing each item ~*~.

Spend at least 5 minutes creating a physical work of art, by ~*~ paint a painting ~*~. The length of time spent on the artwork will determine how much Glamour the dross is able to store.

Spend 1 glamour per 5 minutes spent on the artwork (to a maximum of 5 glamour for a 25+ minute masterpiece).

Celebrate having completed the artwork by ~*~ singing a little fanfare song ~*~.

After completing the ritual, submit a check-out card with the following:

[Player Name], [Character Name]
Create Dross
Talen, [x] Glamour (where x= time and glamour spent in ritual)

The tag for the newly created talen will be delivered the following game.

To use the talen, the art must be destroyed (ripped up, crushed, broken, etc) to release the glamour within. Once broken this way, that particular piece of artwork can never be repaired.

SPECIAL: A ritualist may cast only one type of energy-talen-creation ritual per day, regardless of rituals known.

~*~ When being taught the ritual, and thus creating a copy, the instructions between these markers may be changed as appropriate to the caster. Indicate here the specific actions you will take, and artwork you will create, when you perform the ritual:

Ideas for showing respect: kissing the supplies, whispering compliments, cleaning them, etc. Ideas for works of art: compose a piece of music on paper, write a poem, write a story, make a sculpture, build a toy, etc. Ideas for celebrating completion: do a small dance, wrap the artwork like a present, click your heels in the air, etc.
