Firewalker (Immunity Fire) (4)

Requirements:	Thaumaturgy, Rituals 4
Components:	A bladed weapon prop, 2 candles, a black ribbon
Target:	This ritual can be cast on the Caster, or on another willing target present.
Cost:	1 willpower
Cast Time:	5 minutes

Create a level 4 Thaumaturgy Circle.

Sit in the center of the circle. Place the components on the points of the circle. If you are targeting another person, have them sit at one point, replacing a candle.

Spend 60 seconds in meditation as you mentally prepare to cast the ritual.

Over 60 seconds, pantomime heating the blade on a candle while chanting the following:
“By my skill, I heat this blade. By my will, the heat shall fade.”

Spend 1 Will. Pantomime cutting off one of your own fingers with the heated blade. Take 1 damage.

Walk around the circle 4 times, repeating the same chant.

Pantomime burning the cut off finger in the candle, then sprinkling the ashes on the target.

Tie the black ribbon around the wrist of the target.

The target must then snuff out the candles with his hand. (Take no damage)

On a white 3x5 card, write the following:

 Ritual: Firewalker
 Caster: (Your name)
 Target: (Target name)
 Begin Time: (Current time and date)
 Duration: 1 hour
 Effect: Target receives Immunity: Fire, No Cost, 1 Hour.
 If the black ribbon is removed, the ritual will end.

Writing the 3x5 card is part of casting the ritual, and it should not be made in advance. The target must carry the card on their person.
