Foul is Fair (3)
Requirements: | Changeling, Soothsay, Rituals 3 |
Components: | Tools for divination |
Cost: | 1-5 Glamour |
Cast Time: | 5 minutes |
Purpose: | Predict good fortune in a character's future (because you're giving it to them) |
Tell a good fortune to your target, by reading a horoscope, divining through cards or dice, or any other method of fortune telling. You must spend at least 5 minutes on the divination. Then, spend up to five Glamour, granting the target of the ritual a Good Luck Pool equal to the amount of Glamour spent.
The target of the ritual may spend 1 point of Luck to use either the Dodge power or the Deadly Strike power one time.
The ritual ends the next time the sun rises.
The Luck points are negated one for one by the Bad Luck cards of Fair is Foul or the Poisoned Apple. Otherwise, unused Luck dissipates at the next sunrise.
A given character can benefit from this ritual once per game.
