Forging the object of power (4)

Requirements: Kinesis/Moliate/Usury/Flux
Components: Either a wraith/plasmic victim, or an Oboli
Target: Any Oboli, Wraith, or Plasmic Character
Cost: 1 pathos per level for the remainder of the game
Cast Time: 1 minute
Purpose: Create a Pathos Fetish.

Target: Any Oboli, Wraith, or Plasmic Character Level: 4

Passage: "Malleo loquar tibi ignem et nunc et semper, et in potentia fasinum."

This is where turning a Soul into a Thing gets really interesting.

The economy of the soul trade, is that one item, is one soul. It matters not how big or small the item is, every one of them requires the forging of a plasmic or human soul.

This ritual allows you to turn an Oboli into a Fetish Item or even to turn a Wraith or Plasmic character directly into a such an item

Forge a Wraith or Plasmic character into an Obolis by placing them in a Soulforge, reciting the required phrase (the target does not suffer exposure damage from using this power). Place the target on the ground and spend 60 seconds roleplaying forging the target into the desired item then spend the required Pathos.

The Pathos requirement is equal to the level of Talisman or Fetish that you create. Pathos spent in this Ritual decreases your maximum Pathos for the remainder of game. If you are directly forging a character, gain 4 Angst.

Level / Pathos Cost
L1 / 1
L2 / 2
L3 / 3
L4 / 4
L5 / 5

If performed with less than 10 hours of game time remaining, these effects persist through the following game.

Fetishes created this way are only usable by characters with the Pathos Energy type, even if the pool used by the Fetish is not Pathos.
