Ritual:Siphon/Pillage the Wellspring

| Notes: | This ritual must be performed within range of an energy node. |
| Purpose: | To allow the Hedge Mage to create talens. |
Place the receptacle on the node. Spend an amount of up to 5 equal to the amount of energy in the talen you wish to create, then stand at the node focusing on the receptacle for the amount of time it would take to regain that amount of energy from the node (at the fastest possible rate). The ritualist should spend this time chanting, humming, or performing another repetitive ritualistic action. Then go to ST camp to receive the appropriate talen tag. The talen will be of the same energy type as the energy initially spent. This ritual can be performed only once per day. A ritualist may cast only one type of energy-talen-creation ritual per day, regardless of rituals known.
Pillage the Wellspring (2)

| Cost: | 1 essence per talen created |
| Cast Time: | Variable |
| Notes: | This ritual must be performed within range of an attackable energy node. |
| Purpose: | To allow the Hedge Mage to create energy talens. |
Place the receptacle on the node. Attack the node as per the “ATTACKING, RESTORING, AND STRENGTHENING ENERGY NODES” rules. Continue attacking until you have dealt damage equal to the intended size of the talen. Repeat for each talen. If you disable the node, add a bonus point of energy to a talen’s size. Then go to ST camp to receive the appropriate talen tag(s).The talen will be of the same energy type as the energy initially spent.This ritual can be performed only once per day. A ritualist may cast only one type of energy-talen-creation ritual per day, regardless of rituals known.
