Requirements:	Tremere, Thaumaturgy, Rituals 3
Components:	A blue silken cord or ribbon. A symbol of love or passion. A boffer bladed melee weapon.
Cost:	3 blood
Cast Time:	5 minutes
Notes:	May only be cast at night.

Create a level 3 Thaumaturgy Circle.

Sit or stand in the center of the circle. Arrange the components around the circle, with one on each point.

Meditate on each of the three components for 1 minute each.

Carefully tie the blue cord around your neck as a necklace. Place the symbol of love in your left hand and use the weapon in your right hand.

Recite the following:

"My passions are my own
Despite what you might do,
I rule my own heart
I shall not be influenced by you."

Spend 3 blood.

On a white 3x5 card, write the following:

Ritual: Pavis of Foul Presence
Caster: (Your name)
Begin Time: (Current time and date)
Duration: 8 hours
Effect: Enforced CounterCounterCounter: When you are struck by the damage type described you may spend energy to call "Resist, counter [resisted call]", where number is the amount of damage you would have been dealt. Your attacker takes that damage instead of you. This damage cannot be modified and can also be countered back.:UnforgettableUnforgettableUnforgettable: Mental. Use the sig call "Unforgettable". The target is subjected to a 2 point Bond-like effect., NC & Enforced CounterCounterCounter: When you are struck by the damage type described you may spend energy to call "Resist, counter [resisted call]", where number is the amount of damage you would have been dealt. Your attacker takes that damage instead of you. This damage cannot be modified and can also be countered back.:LoveLoveLove: Mental. Use the sig call: "Love me". The target is overcome with love, respect, and adoration for you. The target will protect you to the best of their ability, but will not necessarily sacrifice their life for yours. The target is inclined to do things you ask, short of inflicting harm to themselves or others., NC. For the duration of the ritual, if anyone uses those powers on you, you must call "Resist, Counter [power]".

Writing the 3x5 card is part of casting the ritual; it should either be done at the time of casting, or the caster must silently meditate for 1 minute if a preprinted card is used. Carry the 3x5 with you while the ritual is in effect.

This ritual will end immediately if the blue ribbon is removed.
