Innocence of the Child’s Heart (4)

Requirements:	Thaumaturgy, Rituals 4
Components:	A living child victim (this can be anyone playing the part of a child), a fireplace prop, a child’s toy, a boffer bladed melee weapon.
Cost:	3 blood
Cast Time:	5 minutes
Notes:	May only be cast at night.

Create a level 4 Thaumaturgy Circle.

Sit or stand in the center of the circle. Arrange the components around the circle, with one on each point.

Meditate on each of the four components for 1 minute each.

Pantomime ritually sacrificing the child with the boffer weapon. Use the ‘cutting off head’ mechanic. (Suffer morality loss regardless of path.) Pantomime cutting the heart out of the child, and then crushing it over the toy.

Recite the following:

"I sacrifice this child,
and soak his blood into this toy
I claim his seeming
My aura is that of an altar boy!

Spend 3 blood.

On a white 3x5 card, write the following:

Ritual: Innocence of the Child’s Heart
Caster: (Your name)
Begin Time: (Current time and date)
Duration: Until Dawn.
Effect: For the duration of the ritual the caster may answer any Sense power as a normal Human child would. This ritual ends if the caster is no longer carrying the toy.

Writing the 3x5 card is part of casting the ritual; it should either be done at the time of casting, or the caster must silently meditate for 1 minute if a preprinted card is used.

Carry the 3x5 with you while the ritual is in effect.

This ritual will end immediately if the caster does not carry the child’s toy with them.
